Obituary
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of my dad, and best friend Alex Roman on November 26, 2020 at the young age of 65 years.
Alex will be dearly missed by his daughter Angie, Mother Olga, Sister Marie Ann (Nestor), Brothers Vic (Anne), Dennis (Donna), Ken (Melani), Dale (Michele), along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Alex was predeceased by his Father, Kazmir Roman (2003) as well as both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Alex was born December 23, 1954 in Edson AB and grew up on the family farm in the Bear Lake area. In 1985 Alex started his own gravel truck business which he operated until his passing.
Alex’s greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, whether it was their daily visits, road trips, vacations, meeting for a drink or going to the meat draws together. The bond they shared was truly a one in a million type of relationship that will never be broken. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, quadding and sledding. He truly had a love for fun and a contagious sense of humour. You always knew he was up to something when that “mischievous grin” would shine through.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
