1943-2020
Surrounded by his loving family,
Colin Marshall Wry, 76, of Sackville,
passed away peacefully at his home in the early hours of Friday
January 24, 2020.
Born in Sackville, Colin was a son of the late Marshall
and Margaret (Adams) Wry.
Colin was a fishing enthusiast and
enjoyed the outdoors. Through the week he would spend his time at the
garage and could tinker with most any machine. He was a devoted
husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of
52 years, Jean (nee Dawson); three children, Darren (Kathy),
Christopher, and Tanya (Trevor) Guilderson; fourteen grandchildren,
Bobby, James, Kayla, Corey, Nicole, Brandon, Ashley, Justin, Kenneth,
Melanie, Marc-Andre, Becca, Darren, and Tayah; several great
grandchildren; four siblings, Kenneth (Fran), William, Judy Walsh, and
Stuart; a brother-in-law, Roy Dawson; many nieces and nephews, as well
as his beloved dog, Mitzy.
Besides his parents, Colin was
predeceased by brothers, Donald & Terrance.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where a time of visitation will
be held 6-8 pm on Monday, January 27, 2020. A funeral service celebrating
Colin’s life will take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at
2pm.
Interment will be held in the Westcock Cemetery in the
spring.
Donations in memory of Colin may be made
to the Westcock Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
