Peacefully, surrounded by love, on Saturday, November 29, 2020, in his one hundredth year. Adored husband of Arlene Corber for forty years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Jeffrey and Sandi Lazare, Bianca and the late Lenny Lazare, Dr. Pamela Wilansky. Cherished ‘Papa’/’Zaida’ of Andrea and James Mendrinos, Matthew Lazare; Vanessa and Jacob Lazare; Riley, Rowan and Rhys Wilansky-Traynor. Proud great-grandfather of Sofia and George Mendrinos. Special thanks to Jack’s phenomenal caregivers, Anita Payne, Emuobo Etinikin, Mamta Sharma, and Dee, to whom the family is forever indebted. Jack loved the Shaar. It was his second home. Many years ago, he was bestowed the honour of Chattan Breishit. Jack was indispensable as Cemetery Chairman for many years. He was awarded a twenty-year pin for volunteering at the Jewish General Hospital. Jack graced the halls with his friendly manner, always eager to help. He will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched. Private graveside service.
