Obituary of Shirley Elizabeth Fowler
The passing of Shirley Elizabeth Fowler of Fredericton, NB, wife of Jerrie Fowler, occurred on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 24, 1944 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Munro) Hoyt. Shirley worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia as a Personal Banking Officer. Among her many community volunteer activities, she was a past president of the NB Scotiabankers Associations; held various positions in the Provincial and Local Offices of the IODE; was a past Director of Pine Grove Nursing Home and belonged to the Blue Jay Mobile Home Association.
In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by daughter, Heather Fowler (Brian McGee) of Miramichi, NB; son, Andrew Fowler (Jill) of Dade City, FL; grandchildren, Justin Fowler (Jackie), Jesse Fowler (Camilia), Megan Webb (Jonathan) and Taliesin; great grandchildren, Ethan, Aubrey and Judith; brothers, Stephen Hoyt (Lorraine) of Noonan, NB and David Hoyt (Beatrice) of Erbs Cove, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health concerns there will be a Private Family Visitation. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Pine Grove Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
