It is with broken hearts that the family of the late ANGELA MURPHY of Marystown announces her passing. Angela passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Monday, November 30th, 2020 at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her son, David Murphy (Doreen) of Marystown; daughters, Brenda Gleason of Creston South, Barbara Spencer of Marystown, Marilyn Dunphy (Keith) of New Brunswick, Joan Warren (Anthony Jr.) of Salt Pond, and Patricia Inkpen (Terry) of Lewin’s Cove; 13 grandchildren, Gwen Drover (David), Rodney Gleason (Jennifer), Roxanne Gleason, Cynthia Pardy (Terry Warren), Scott Spencer (Sandra), Tracey Lynn Brewer (Curtis), Ashley Spencer (Tyrone Brake), Rob Dunphy, Chris Dunphy (Vanessa MacLean), Robyn Warren, Justin Warren, Sabrina Inkpen, and Brittany Inkpen; 12 great-grandchildren, Kaily, Jaden, Liam, Tyler, Peyton, Jaxon, Luke, Valerie, Christopher (Brittney), T.J (Rylie), Raquel, and Emmi; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Charliee and Carter; brothers, Raymond Dobbin, and Albert Dobbin of Ontario; sister, Veronica Widenhofer of Pennsylvania; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Angela was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Murphy; parents, Davis and Anne Dobbin; son-in-law, Arch Spencer Jr; sisters, Theresa King, Nellie Dakins, and Elizabeth Hawko; brothers, William Dobbin, and John Dobbin.
The Murphy Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Tuesday, December 1st from 1pm to 4pm & 6pm to 9pm, and Wednesday, December 2nd from 10am to 12pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Wednesday, December 2nd at 2:30 pm.
Interment to follow at Sacred Heart RC Cemetery, Marystown.
In Angela’s memory, donations may be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center or Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund, Heart & Stroke Foundation, A Charity of One’s Choice or Flowers Gratefully Accepted.
