Obituary of David Henry Petersen
David Henry Petersen passed away peacefully on November 29, 2020, holding the hand of his youngest daughter.
David, the loving husband to Shirley Ruth Petersen (Warrick), granddaughter of William and Sarah Watson of Morpeth, Ontario. A caring father to Ruth & Chris Moore, and Anne & Sean Pennells, David was known for his tender heart, skills in the workshop, and dedication to his faith & family.
David’s legacy will be carried on by his four grandchildren and their spouses, as well as five great grandchildren.
His family takes comfort in knowing that David is safe in the arms of his loving, heavenly Father and reunited with his father (Henry), mother (Edith), brother (Robert), and sister (Sondra).
David’s family would like to thank the staff at Faith Manor – Holland Christian Homes in Brampton, Ontario, for the wonderful care they provided to David over the last 4.5 years.
Cremation has taken place, with interment in Morpeth Cemetery.
It was David’s wish that expressions of sympathy be made to Parkinson Canada.
