During his career, his significant contributions to science were published over 100 times and his work was widely cited by fellow scientists. During his retirement he spent most of his time on the golf course and at the RCMP curling club with his wife and cherished friends. He took pleasure in traveling the world with his wife and family and visited over 40 countries. He was a loving and humble man with a great sense of humour, a love for reading, an amazing cook, and a sampler of good wine and Scotch. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, curling and golf buddies, and the research community.
Funeral service will be held at Heritage Funeral Homes on November 30th, 2020 for the immediate family and invited friends.
