Obituary of Bertha Mee (nee Craven)
MEE, Bertha (Craven) passed away peacefully at the home of Winston and Erma, November 27, 2020 in her 104th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Russell (1993). Born; September 30, 1917 to Charles and Carrie (Pillar) Craven of North Gower, Ontario. Predeceased by siblings; Lillie Carson, Elsie Craig, William Craven, Ella Wilson, Alvin Craven, Mabel Craig and Iva Craven.
Lovingly remembered by two daughters, Lois (Dale) Lyons, Westport, Ontario and Erma (Winston) Acres, Shawville,Quebec.
Her pride and joy were her five grandchildren; Greg (Deanne) Lyons, Gloria (Corey) Peters, Janice (Scott) Moreton, Roxanne (Joseph) Pare, Steven (Jennifer) Acres, and her 19 great-grandchildren; Alexis, Lucas, Abigail and Madison Lyons, Ashley, Noah, Ben and Emily Peters, Naomi, Andrew and Chloe Moreton, Jacob, Madeleine, Gabrielle and Matthew Pare, Owen, Calvin, Weston and Hailey Acres.
A private funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in New Hope Christian Fellowship Church, 586 Main Street, Shawville, Quebec. Service will be live streamed on New Hope Christian Fellowship Facebook page. Memorial donations can be made in her memory, to New Hope Christian Fellowship building fund.
