Wallace’s Obituary
With great sadness but filled with loving memories, Wallace Frederick Davis, 76, of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, passed away at home surrounded by family on the evening of November 22, 2020. He was born on September 15. 1944, the son of late Walter and Pearl (Wilson) Davis.
Wallace worked as a Truck Driver and Labourer for the Town of Shelburne Street Department for more than twenty-five years.
Wallace enjoyed hunting, clamming and gardening as well as many outdoor activities such as barbeques where family would gather to play washers and horseshoes while enjoying music and dancing.
Wallace married Gladys (Barbara) Ann Smith on October 28, 1983.
Wallace is survived by (wife) Barbara and children; (daughters) Donna Davis, Linda Davis; (stepdaughter) Tammy Smith (Jody), (stepsons) Paul (wife, Debra),Smith and Nickie (wife Donna) Smith. Wallace’s sisters; Lila Davis, Margaret Hemeon and brothers; Leroy Davis, Gordon Davis. As well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Wallace was preceded in death by brothers Earl, John, Ronald, William and Francis; sisters, Bethel and Rose; (daughter) Wanda Davis.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Shelburne. Many thanks to VON and Nurses for their kind and caring attention that was given to my husband. Donations in his name may be made to a Charity of Choice.
