MacLELLAN, Andrew “Fraser”
– Age 64, Sugarcamp, Inverness Co.,
passed away suddenly at home on Monday, November 23, 2020. Fraser was
born in Neil’s Harbour, Victoria Co., he was the son of the
late Pte. DA and Mary (Fraser) MacLellan.
Fraser worked for the Department of Transportation since the
age of 19 and remained there until his retirement in 2011. He was an
avid Maple Leaf’s fan and was always with his loyal furry
companion, Macy.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Debbie
(Hurlburt) MacLellan; son, Andrew (Justine), Sugarcamp; granddaughter,
Sully, Creignish; mother-in-law, Joan Hurlburt; brothers, Murdock
(Mary), Winnipeg; Gussie, Port Hawkesbury; sisters, Linda (Allen)
Bates; Karen (Vince) Daigle; Mary and Tina, Long Stretch Road;
brother-in-law, Angus MacDonald, Antigonish; sister-in-law, Theresa
MacLellan, Bay St. Lawrence; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Gary and Robert;
sister, Sheila MacDonald and Mary in infancy; father and
mother-in-law, Ansel and Ruby Hurlburt; sister-in-law, Jackie;
nephews, Robbie and Dougie MacLellan.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held
at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.Words of comfort may be forwarded to
