It is with sadness we announce the passing of
Ronald Gregory McKay, age 72, of
Springhill, NS. Ronald passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the
Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Ronald and Jeano
(Anderson) McKay.
Ronald was a Correctional Officer for many years. He was
known as a kind and compassionate man. He was a loving and gentle
husband, father and grandfather.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Brenda of Springhill,
NS; his children Samantha McKay (John), Halifax, NS, Justin (Karrie),
Amherst, NS and James (Sheila) Hunter, Penticton, BC; 2 grandchildren,
Haley and Liam McKay; sisters Cheryl and Margaret.
He was predeceased by his brother Justin.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). In keeping with Ronald’s
wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations in memory of Ronald may be made to the Cancer
Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
