Irene Rose Leaper Tuesday November 3rd 2020

The Leaper Family announces with sorrow the death of Mrs. Irene Rose Leaper at the age of 92 years. Mrs. Leaper died peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Loving wife of the late Archie Leaper, Irene was the mother of six children; Ted [Peggy] Leaper of Cobalt, Don [Debbie] Leaper of Oshawa, Larry Leaper of Cobalt, Betty (Al) Lanois of London, Marilyn [Ray] St Denis of Timmins and Randy [Karen] Leaper of Englehart. Irene leaves behind two sisters Barbara (Doug) and Florence (Frank). Irene was also grandmother to six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She would be proud to announce that. Predeceased by three of her children (Randy, Teddy and Marilyn) as well as her loving husband. Irene remained in her family home on Pump House Road in Cobalt until her recent hospitalization. Irene was a strong willed woman who in times of grief losing her own children within 1 year stood tall and continued on for everyone around her. We hold comfort in our hearts knowing Irene will be greeted with love on the other side. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, 705-672-3122. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences accepted at www.buffamleveille.com.
