Ralph Bernard Williams
Ingonish
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Ralph Williams, age 84, on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Buchanan Community Health Centre, Neil’s Harbour.
Born in Ingonish on March 1, 1935, he was the son of the late Patrick and Viola (Cann) Williams. Dad was a quiet, easy going and gentle man with a big heart. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was cutting and stacking wood, or going for a hunt. His real talent and passion in life was his music. He was a talented guitar player with a strong voice. His music has been enjoyed by many over the years, and we will treasure the stories of his musical adventures throughout his youth and adult life.
Dad is survived by his five children and their spouses; Corinne (Bruce), Phyllis (Kenny), Lyndon (Angie), Jason (Tara), and Travis (Kara), and his ten grandchildren; Damon, Logan, Alisha, Kaleb, Maddie, Aiden, Fox, Jeremy, Cody and Brandi. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren; Hayden, Danni, Westley, Nora Paisley and Bronson. Dad is also survived by his siblings Bill, Beatrice, Audrey and Blanch.
Besides his parents, Dad was predeceased by his wife Margaret (Mom), her parents Julianne and Anthony Gwinn, his brother Albert, several brothers and sisters-in-law, and his special friend Dotsie.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Buchanan Community Health Centre for their continued care and compassion.
Dad will be cremated, and we will have a private family service in the spring. Words of comfort may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
We will miss you Pa, and love you always.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ralph Williams 2020..
