On Friday, November 20, 2020 Marcel Joseph LaBrie of Edmonton, Alberta formerly of Fort Kent passed away at the age of 97 years.
Marcel will be forever remembered and loved by his nine children: Florence (Ernie) Pombert, Lorraine (Ronald) Breault, Gerald (Dawn) LaBrie, Maggie LaBrie, Martin (Jacqueline) LaBrie, Maurice (Angie) LaBrie, Joanne (Ken) Young, Doris (Bobby) Bonko, Richard (Debbie) LaBrie; twenty-six grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; brother: Andy LaBrie; sister: Lucille Shanon.
Marcel was predeceased by his wife: Therese LaBrie in 2019; parents: Edmer & Regina LaBrie; five brothers & four sisters.
A private family funeral service will be held at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Edmonton, Alberta with Rev. Father Jossy George Thomas, officiant at a later date. Final resting place, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fort Kent, Alberta.
The family would like to express special appreciation and thanks to the staff of Laurel Heights Retirement Residence who seamlessly and lovingly supported Marcel in his final weeks. He loved his care givers as family.
Memorial tributes in memory of Marcel may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
