With saddened hearts and many cherished memories, we announce the passing of our Mom, Frances Carder, on November 14, 2020 at Erie Shores Hospice at the age of 89 years. Dear wife of the late Donald Carder (1982). Loving Mom of Susan (late Rick 2013) Holmes and Diane (Paul) Finley. Loving Grandma to Jennifer Geelen Carr and Berdine (Rob) Duquette. Loving Great Grandma to Bradley (Greg) MacDonald, Jamieson Carr, Logan Carr, Tyler Duquette and Megan Duquette. Dear sister of Robert (Laverne) Fielding. Loving aunt to Stephen (Tracy) Fielding, Michael (Sharon) Fielding and Amy (Noel) Harrison. Frances enjoyed many years of travelling. A very heartfelt thank you for the care received at Erie Shores Hospice, and to all of the doctors, nurses, PSWs and volunteers who took such loving compassionate care of all of us. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Frances on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Maureen Carder officiating. Interment at Albuna Cemetery. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation is limited to a specific number of people at a time. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Please book an appointment online at www.reidfuneralhome.ca to secure a designated time to pay your respects to the family. EVERYONE must wear a mask and social distance from the family and those around them.
