At the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, Joan Marie Deagle (nee Rush) passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side. She was aged 75 years of Lower Rollo Bay and formerly of Charlottetown.
She was the beloved wife of 53 years to her faithful and devoted husband Wendell and was a caring and dear mother to her children Shelley, Chris (Louise) and Trevor (Michelle). Joan will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chelsea Hill (Cameron), Devan Boertien (Megan), Dimitri Boertien (Abbey), Callie Deagle and Ryan, Cameron and James Deagle and great grandchildren Isabella, Olivia, Freya and Mia Hill. Deeply missed by her siblings Brian and Noreen Rush, sister-in-law Mary Rush and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Kathleen Rush, brothers Merill, Richard, Kenneth Rush and sister-in-law Irene Rush.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris. Due to public health restrictions, visiting hours will take place for family only. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Souris with interment in the St. Alexis church cemetery, Rollo Bay. If so desired, donations in memory of Joan can be made to the Souris Hospital or Parkinson Canada.
