Charles Laurie Charlie Brown 19582020

Charles Laurie “Charlie” Brown
1958-2020
Charles Laurie “Charlie” Brown – age 62, of
Kentville. It is with great sadness we said goodbye to our loved
Charlie Brown on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at home. Charlie lived in
Canning for the first 47 years of his life until he met Janet and
moved to Kentville. He was the only child to the late Laurie
and Louise (Berggren) Brown. Charlie was a truck driver for almost 40
years, with most of these working with Armour Transportation. He took
pride in driving those big rigs and had a love for the road.
He was a drummer with many local bands throughout the Valley and had
an appreciation for all kinds of music. He could fix anything and
enjoyed working outdoors with his tractor and mini excavator. He loved
animals, especially his fur babies Lucy, Gizmo and Mama.
With his positive, friendly personality he made friends everywhere he
went. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by
his spouse and best friend, Janet Welton; son, Charlie Brown (Kayla
Houghton), Canning; daughters, Edith “Edie-Lou”
Brown (Justin Gowanlock), Lake Echo and Veronica
“Ronnie” Brown (Evan Russell), Peterborough, Ont.;
stepsons, Jamie McKinnon (Kass Sanford), London, Ont. and Jordan
McKinnon, Kentville, grandchildren; Mia, Octavia, CJ, Aurelia and
Braxton. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of
Charlie’s life will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory may be made to Annapolis Valley VON or the
Palliative Carey Me Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
