Obituary for Henry Andrew Fred Moskalyk
Henry Moskalyk, age 88, passed away on November 7, 2020, at the Fairview Hospital after a short illness.
A long time resident of Fairview, Henry and his wife of 65 years Gwen (Pratt) lived and farmed in the Highland Park area west of Fairview for 52 years. There they raised 5 children, many cattle, chickens, and pigs. Their home was always filled with cousins, siblings and many visitors.
Henry also served as a councilor of the MD of Fairview for 18 years. When he wasn’t farming or travelling for meetings Henry would be found at ball games, hockey games, curling rinks and volleyball games watching his kids play.
Henry is survived by his wife Gwen, Son Mark (Cindy), Paul (Margaret), daughter-in-law Rhonda, Son Barry (Lynette), Daughter Wendy (Jim), 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and sister Mary Rombs.
Henry was predeceased by son Wayne, and 7 siblings.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Fairview palliative care.
