The death of Paul Kowbel, 82 years, occurred on November 2, 2020 at Lakeview Pionerr Lodge, Wakaw, SK. Paul was a farmer in the Rosthern District throughout his life. He is survived by his wife Ann Kowbel; daughter Clarisse Kowbel (special friend Maurice); brother Werner (Jeannie) Kowbel; sisters, Gloria Terlecki, Elizabeth (William) Jamieson; sisters-in-law, Sandra Kowbel, Gloria Kowbel, and Janice Kowbel; and brother-in-law Don Redgewell. Paul is predeceased by parents Peter and Pearl Kowbel; sister Pauline (Geno) Barbieri, Marie (Earl) Cheney, Elsie Redgewell; brother-in-law Bill Terlecki; and brothers, Mike Kowbel, Nick Kowbel, and Ernest Kowbel. A Private Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated by Rev. Mykola Romanents on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rosthern, SK. Due to covid restrictions the Service will be for immediate family and invited guests only, masks will be required. Interment to follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK. (306) 232-5245
