Obituary
Barbara Anne Meyer (Scott), age 73, passed away on October 30, 2020 in Edson, AB. She was born on March 29, 1947 in Edmonton, AB to Robert and Heather Scott. She grew up in Ma-me-o Beach as well as on a farm/horse ranch near Rochester. Barb moved back to the Falun area where she became a farm wife and a mother to three active boys. She was employed as a school bus driver for many years. Barb loved family, horses, camping and quadding. She was a wonderful gardener who loved her flowers, a great baker, and a very enthusiastic sports mom.
Barb was survived and will be greatly missed by her children Wayne Meyer (Tracey) of Peers, AB, Gary Meyer (Lorna) of Edson, AB, and Shawn Meyer (Lorei) of Falun, AB; grandchildren Brett (Nicole), Nikki (Tyler), Tyhe, Jesse, Leslie (John), Colby, and Aliah; great grandchildren Ryker, Caleb, and Haden; brothers John Scott (Maureen), Bill Scott (Karen), and Kirk Scott; sister Laurel Scott (Lyn), and sister-in-law Bonnie Scott.
Barb was predeceased by her parents Robert Scott, Heather Scott (Shorty), second parents Gene and Olga Glowa, brother Tom Scott, and daughter-in-law Roxanne Meyer.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
