Davis, Theresa Virginia – age 85, of The Meadows Home for Special Care, formerly of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1st, 2020 at The Meadows. Born November 10,1934 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Ella (Kelsey) Scoville. Theresa was a homemaker and devoted her time to raising her family. When she wasn’t giver her kids a hard time, Theresa enjoyed playing Bingo, trying her luck on the VLTs, knitting and enjoying her flowers. She is survived by her children, Burt (Dorothy), New Brunswick; Lorraine (Harvey), Arnold, Margert, Betty-Anne, Francis (Ruby), David, Rose (Kenny), Joey and Theresa (Dave), all of Yarmouth, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Francis and son, Wally. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth, where visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. from Huskilson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Donations is memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
