Gerald Tanner
1931-2020
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gerald
Alonzo Tanner, Cookville, born June 14, 1931. He was a son
of the Late Henry and Althea (Tanner) Tanner of Lunenburg. Surviving
are his wife of 69 years, Joan (Rodeniser); daughters Cathryn Varner,
Gail (Michael), both of Shelburne NS; step-daughter Deborah Anderson
(Wayne); step-son Gary Rodeniser (Tina), Haines Rd; sister Ruth
Dalton, Yarmouth. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased
by four brothers; five sisters; great-grandson Kyle Corkum. Cremation
has taken place and there will be no service at this time. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
or the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia. Arrangements are
under the direction of the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where
