Bridget’s Obituary
Bridget Arlene Fehr , a long time resident of Grimshaw and Peace River, AB passed away at the age of 66 years, on October 27, 2020 in Peace River. Born Bridget Arlene Eherer, to parents Hattie and Raymond Eherer on October 3, 1954 in Athabasca, AB. Bridget was married on December 12, 1981 to Ron Fehr at the Holy Family Catholic church in Grimshaw, AB. They lived in Grimshaw until May of 2012 where they raised their family of three boys, Rory, Alexander and Andrew.
Bridget and Ron opened a lumberyard in Peace River in 2001 and moved to Peace River in 2012. Bridget went into semi retirement in 2014 and spent her spare time gardening, working on her collections, visiting with family and friends, travelling with Ron and making new friends. Throughout her life she was involved with the church and was a 50 year member of the Catholic Womens League.
Bridget’s family and friends were the most important things in her life, especially
her five grandchildren.
Bridget is predeceased by her brother, Gerry Eherer; her grandparents, Joe and Annie Eherer; her grandparents, Sam and Pearl McKelvey.
Bridget is survived by her husband, Ron; son, Rory (Andrea); son, Alexander (Lindsay); son, Andrew; mother and father, Hattie and Raymond Eherer; brother, Fr. Edward Eherer; sister, Janet (George) Stewart; sister, Laurie (Doug) McKay; sister-
in-law, Terry Eherer as well as her cherished grandchildren, Caleb, Ashton, Sawyer, Sloan and Dawson.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking Bridget’s memory to be honored with donations to the Peace River and District Health Foundation.
