Obituary of William A. Clarke
Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Saturday, October 31, 2020, William A. Clarke of Victoria, age 77 years.
Predeceased by son: Robert ‘Bob’; parents: Ronald and Audrey.
Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 54 years, Lillian; one daughter: Deanne (Chris) King, Victoria; one son: Charles (Belinda), Victoria; daughter-in-law: Kelly, Victoria; his precious grandchildren, whom he adored: Christina, Justine (James), Justin (Janelle), Morgan (Trent), Billy, and great-grandson: Logan; five brothers: Ron (Vera), Alberta, Jack (Rosalind) and Glen (Joan), both of Victoria, Stan (Daisy), NS, and Tony (Judy), Hopeall; five sisters: Elizabeth (Ralph, deceased) Johnson, Pennsylvania, USA, Polly (Charlie) Johnson, Victoria, Lyla (Phil) Riggs, Glovertown, Audrey Clarke (Bram), Cambridge, ON, and Debbie (Baxter) Pitts, Victoria; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear. Funeral service will take place at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear by invitation only. Cremation to follow, with interment to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the William A. Clarke Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
