Kim Henry passed away on October 26, at the age of 73. He leaves behind his wife, Happiness Henry with 14 wonderful years together. He is survived by his daughters, Lorie (Roger) Erickson, Carmin (Michael) Kuhn; his grandchildren, Shelby, Abigail, and Jack Erickson, William and Carissa Kuhn; brothers, Roy (Max) Henry, Neil (Maxine) Henry, and their families; and remembered by his many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilbert Vernon Henry, Ethelwyn Clarissa Henry; his son Wilbert Glen Henry; father in law, Morrison Welle; brother in law, Endurance Welle.
Kim was born in the small town of Coronation Alberta. He graduated from Wetaskiwin High school. Kim was a hard worker, dedicated to his job, and was a firefighter for the City of Edmonton for 29 years. He attended Central Alliance Church, and was a lifelong follower of Christ. Kim enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, road trips, fixing, tinkering, and keeping himself busy. He will be remembered for his generosity, forgiveness, dependability, loving acceptance, tenderness, kindness, joyfully looking on the bright side, and amusing dad jokes. A viewing will be held at Bakers Funeral Chapel in Wetaskiwin on November 2, 2020 at 12:00 pm. Followed by a grave side service at Wetaskiwin Cemetery, at 1:00 pm.
