GOODWIN, William “Billy” – Age 68, of Saulnierville, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Sandford, he was a son of the late Merton and Louise (Bridgeo) Goodwin.
Billy enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a big sports fan cheering for the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Maple Leafs and Green Bay Packers. He worked with IMP for over 40 years and was very well-liked by his customers. Most importantly, Billy was a kind and loving man who loved his family very much.
Billy is survived by his wife, Eileen; daughter, Jennifer Goodwin; brothers, Ronnie (Lois) and Arthur; sisters, Sylvia (Greg) Carter, Alice (Thomas) Patten, Elsie (the late Bill) Nickerson, Kathy (Larry) Munroe, Pamela (Doug) Gray and Connie (Stanley) Doucette, all of Yarmouth County. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul (Diane).
Cremation has taken place under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. A public graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 28 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Saulnierville, with Rev. Honoré Kouassi officiating.
Donations in memory of Billy may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
