Obituary of Ariel Aveleigh Filson
Filson, Ariel Aveleigh
It is with profound heartache and grief that my family and I announce the sudden passing of my mother Ariel Filson on Saturday October 24, 2020, born June 6, 1945. She passed peacefully at home in her favourite chair I’m sure watching her favourite show. She suffers no more….
She was a beautiful soul who loved her extended family but most of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be eternally in our hearts and souls but free to finally join her son who has been waiting for her for 29 years.
She loved playing darts, playing pool, dancing ,playing trivia, doing crosswords and laughing whenever she had the chance. She did most of this at the place that provided her with never ending stories the 560 Legion where she held the title of Ladies Auxiliary President, Vice President, Past President and second hand to anyone who needed her advice because she knew it all. Unfortunately, her declining health stopped her from doing all the things she loved.
She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Swain, grandchildren Christopher Pascoal (Hallie), Lochlyn Wimmer, Brady Perkins (Suzie Q – to her), Daria Swain (Brad), her great grandchildren Everly and Norah, her older sister and most recently much appreciated chauffer Arlie Grange, her youngest brother Peter Lewis and many nieces and nephews. She joins in eternity her son Darryl Swain (October 1991), her brother Rick Lewis (2013) and her mother Betty Lewis (1985)
You are now my angel I LOVE YOU MOM, TIL WE MEET AGAIN REST IN PEACE ❤️
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to enable us to remember our fallen hero’s on Remembrance Day.
