71 years, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Loving husband of Josephine Demars for 44 years. Dear father to Gary Jr. (1986), Wayne Demars (Verena), Holly Matte (Craig), Joshua Demars (Samantha). Proud grandfather to Jeramy Demars, Dylan Demars, Aydan Willis-Demars, Dakota Demars, Liam Matte, Jameson Demars, Brayden Matte and one new addition on they way. Dear brother to Linda Demars, David Demars (Debbie), Annette Doan (Larry), Rachel Kiebert (Tony), Laura McKeen (Jeff), Roger Demars (Rachelle). Gary will also be dearly missed by many brother in law and sisters in law, as well as many nieces and nephews. Beloved son of Mary Demars and the late George Demars. Gary lived for and loved his entire family, his children and grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Thursday, October 29 from 7-9pm & Friday, October 30 from 2-5pm. No formal funeral service as per the family’s wishes. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation is limited to a specific number of visitors at a time. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Please book an appointment online at www.reidfuneralhome.ca to secure a designated time to pay your respects. EVERYONE must wear a mask and social distance from the family and those around them. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. In keeping with Gary’s wishes, cremation will follow. Memorial donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
