MacIntosh, Donald Earl – The family of Donald Earl MacIntosh wish to announce his passing after a lengthy illness. Donald was born in 1951 and lived most of his life in Tatamagouche or the surrounding area. He worked as a diamond driller for much of his life for Logan Drilling and enjoyed working in the woods. Donald is survived by his fiancé, Shirley Jean Keefe; sons, Charlie MacIntosh, Grand Prairie, and Danny MacIntosh, New Annan; Shirley’s sons, Glenn Keefe and Brian Keefe; his siblings, Beverley (Grant) Mingo, Mary (Robert) Boyd, Dorothy Sinclair, Shirley Mossman, Enid (David) Pierce, James (Judy) MacIntosh and Stephen (Susan) MacIntosh; his sisters-in-law, Glenda and Pam; aunts, Emily (Brad) Brown and Marj MacIntosh. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Helen (Langille) MacIntosh; his first wife, Sheila Rushton; brothers-in-law, Ian Coulter and Alex Sinclair; and nephew, Terry Hunt. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, October 27 in Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche and a graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Portapique Cemetery on the Portapique Beach Road, Portapique. Memorial donations to the Lung Association or the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
