John Terrance Wurmnest Heavy 2020

John Terrance Wurmnest (Heavy)
Sept 11, 1938 – Jan 19, 2020
Predeceased by: Devoted wife, Connie, Son-in-law Tim Erb, Sisters Delores, Leta, Sadie. Survived by: Scott (Tannis,) Brent, Britney, Kara, Kristine, Molly, Jed (Vic), Julie, Stewart, Tanis (Doug).
Terry farmed in Sperling alongside his dad & dear Uncle Walter. He was a very gifted welder with Simon Day & many years with the supportive men of Sperling Industries. Terry’s mother, Daisy, dying in his teens, disrupted his formative years. Uncle Walter was a second dad & very influential in his maturing & Unc’s patience was a gift to Terry.
Terry is remembered for his honesty, generosity, bravery, kind heartedness, loyalty & gentleness. He loved nature & planted many 100’s of trees on the homestead as well as his beautiful, bountiful gardens at his Sperling residence with Connie. He shared much produce with friends & neighbours as well as feeding 100’s of birds from the 10 + birdfeeders he kept brimming full.
Many thanks to the great staff at Carman Hospital & very grateful to special friends, Charles, Don & John Peckover & Murray Rinn.
