Obituary of Marion Joan Adams
Adams, Marion (nee Charleton) – Marion Adams of Beamsville, Ontario, born June 21,1940, passed peacefully on October 13th with her loved ones by her bedside at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Marion spent her youth on the Queensway in Etobicoke and Mississauga. She had a creative spirit which included playing the piano and creating art in many mediums. She worked as a draftsperson and later joined her family in the manufacturing of roller skates at the Dominion Skate Factory. In 1972, she moved to a sprawling stone farmhouse in Milton that would be her home for almost thirty years. She raised her two sons, Stephen and Colin there before she moved to the Niagara area to be closer to her aging parents. It was here that she spent her days taking photos and enjoying the gorgeous scenery and warmer climate of the area. She was a volunteer with the local historical society where she worked to preserve the history of the region. She always had a special place in her heart for her pets with a particular fondness for her cats.
She is predeceased by her parents Herb and Millie Charleton. Beloved sister to Naomi (Adrian), Paul and Ruthie. Mother of Stephen (Eva) and Colin (Karen). Cherished grandmother of Mason,Victoria, Norah, William and Andrew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Lincoln County Humane Society would be appreciated
