Roy Grosjean, 78, of Langley, BC passed away Wednesday October 15, 2020 in the loving and compassionate care of Langley Hospice Centre. He was born on April 8, 1942 to Joseph and Emma Grosjean in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Roy is survived by his Wife of 52 years, Kathleen Grosjean, their three children, Paul Grosjean (Flavia), Lisa Vulcano (Jim), and Mark Grosjean (Grace). Roy’s twelve grandchildren are Royston, Matthew, Liam, John, Joseph, Chiara, Aaron, Adam, Sarah, Michael, Mark, and Monica. Roy is also survived by one sister, Florence Kindzierski and one brother, Garnet Grosjean and their spouses.
As a young man after high school, Roy joined the Navy for three years before starting his career as a Millwright in Vancouver, BC. He married the love of his life Kathleen on December 28, 1968.
Roy is remembered as a generous and proud family man who always worked hard with the utmost of integrity. He was an active member of St. Matthew’s Parish, and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved being surrounded by his family, including his twelve grandchildren. He will be missed, however his legacy in the family that he has raised and the example he has shown will continue.
