Clifford M’s Obituary
MUISE, Clifford Andrew – age 88, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born March 3, 1932 in Yarmouth, he was raised by his grandparents, the late George Andrew and Louise (Hatfield) Muise. Clifford was a retired diesel mechanic and he enjoyed rabbit hunting, playing cards with family, darts, gardening, cooking and baking (especially bread!). He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2181, Yarmouth. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 67 years, Evelyn “Nickey” (Sweeney) Muise, as well as by children, Walter (Patricia) Muise, Monica (Mike) Steeves, Perry (Lorraine) Muise, Lynn (Marcel) Belliveau and Gail (Bruce) Smith; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, along with a sister, Eileen Barrette. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Ann, as well as by brothers, Marty Dromgoole and Eddie Dromgoole. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, where visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m. Monday with prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 20 from St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Pat O’Meara officiating. Interment to follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating may be limited at both the funeral home and church and social distancing guidelines must be followed (immediate family will be given priority for seating). It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Donations in memory of Clifford may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
