Obituary of James Andrew Armstrong
ARMSTRONG, James Andrew
Surrounded by family James passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on October 11, 2020 in his 57th year. Dear son of the late Elizabeth and Gilbert Armstrong, survived by brothers David (Isabel) Armstrong, John (Kathy) Armstrong and sister Ruth (William) Smillie. Uncle to Alan, Philip, Leanne (Daniel), Mark (Sarah), Luke (Jessica), Karrie (Andrew) and Bethany. Long time attendee of Mercy of God Ministries Church, Peterborough, Ontario. James, known to his friends and family as ‘Jim’, endured much in life physically yet always retained his sense of humour. He enjoyed woodworking and motorcycling with his friends, but his most important accomplishment in later years was coming to know Jesus Christ as His personal Savior. He will be missed by his family and many friends. A private family interment will be held. Special thanks to the staff of Sunnybrook Hospital I.C.U. for their dedicated care and also to niece Bethany Armstrong for her help and support through recent years. Donations to Toronto Sunnybrook Hospital I.C.U., or Mercy of God Ministries Church, Peterborough, Ontario.
John 3:16; For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
