Mary “Bessie” Elizabeth O’Toole
October 03, 1938 – October 12, 2020
Passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Miller Centre, on October 12, 2020, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 82.
Predeceased by her husband John “Jack” O’Toole (2003); parents William and Annie Jordan; grandson RJ Puddicombe; special sister and best friend Alice Kelly, as well as six of her other siblings, and members of the O’Toole and Jordan families.
Leaving to mourn her daughters Bernadette (George) and Theresa (Randy); sons John and Terry (Lynn); grandchildren Stephanie (Brian), Wayne (Morgan), Terrilynne (Zach), Jodi (Alexander) and Morgan; great-grandchildren Aimee, Kayleigh and Aria; brother Gus (Florence); sisters Geraldine (Richard) and Kay as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Special thanks to the Angel of Hope home care agency for allowing her stay at home with us for as long as she did. Also, a very special thank you to Jack and Christine Madden for loving and taking care of her with us for the past year and a half. A special thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care unit for their kindness and compassion during her stay.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private Funeral Service will take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bessie’s memory to the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre or to a charity of one’s choice.
