Obituary of Marcel Leo Lefaive
Passed away peacefully at the age of 69, surrounded by family and loved ones, on October 2, 2020 at the family homestead. Best friend & husband of 37 years to Carol. Loving father of Nicole (Dave Beach), Lisa (Jason) Ouellette, Danielle and Meaghen (Jeff Van Dongen). Caring Pépé to Taryn, Samantha, Amanda, Keegan, Alexa, Mackenzie & Emmaline. Loving Son of Marie Lefaive – Raymond and the late Emile Lefaive (1998) & Paul Raymond (2019). Dear brother of Paul (1996) & Donna, Ronald, Gerald (2002) & Ann Marie, Elaine & Dave Morrison. Brother-in-law to William (2016) & Theresa (2017) McCready, James (2004) & Sandra McCready, Patricia & Charles Forsyth. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Marcel will be missed by many. He was an avid farmer with his brother Ron on the family farm, a story telling fisherman and a trophy winning hunter. An outgoing man with many ties to the community, always willing to help a friend or stranger. A lifetime member of the Stoney Point Sportmen’s Club and the Royal Canadian Legion in Comber. We would like to thank all the amazing doctors and nurses who helped Marcel through his journey over the last few years with a special mention to his in-home nurse Jennifer Sylvester – Jen was able to always bring a smile to Marcel’s face. Cremation has taken place.
