Obituary
It is with great sadness that that family of David R Holland, beloved son of Donald Holland and the late Wilma Holland (Tidd) announce his passing on October 1st, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy battle with Cancer.
Born in Blacks Harbor NB, David was a quiet boy with a love and savant for Music history of all genres, especially his lifetime favorite, Elvis Presley. David worked for the Simms Brush Co. in Saint John for over 30 years, after which he pursued his passion for nostalgia and musical memorabilia by opening a popular online store boasting an impressive and beautifully curated record collection. David was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan and a lifelong Boston Bruins supporter. David enjoyed nothing more than visiting with his Mom and Dad to watch the games together. No gentler a soul, David lived a quiet life with his faithful feline companion, “Sparky” while surrounded by the love of his sister, Catherine (Tom) Partridge and his brother Martin (Susan) Holland along with one niece, Melanie (Jack) MacLeod and one nephew, Alan (Natilie) Holland. David was great-uncle to Sydney and Addison Urquhart.
David was a devout Christian and though his battle with Cancer was long and hard fought, his faith never wavered. He had wished to be baptized while in hospital just days before his passing and that wish was so kindly made a reality by the Rev. Ladd Dunfield. David is predeceased by his Mother and friend, Wilma (November 2018) and his Sister-in-law, Susan (May 2018)
Donald and family would like to thank the Stem Cell team at the Saint John Regional Hospital, especially Monique for her advocacy and assistance. Much appreciation to Pam for her Spiritual guidance throughout his journey. Heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care staff, also at SJRH, for their compassion and wonderful care.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A private family service will take place with interment to follow at Penfield Rural Cemetery.
