Tributes
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Noreen Vawer (Barber), on Sunday September 27, 2020. She lived her 91 years of life to the fullest.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Ted, and her sisters Audrey and Dorothy. She will be sadly missed by her brother Andrew Barber, sisters Emily Barber and Kathleen (Jerry) Bernstein.
She was loved and will be forever remembered by her children, Patrick (May), Debora (Alan), Fred (Donna), Lianne (Terry) and Andrew. She was Granny V. to so many, especially her grandchildren, Vanessa and Michelle, Michael, Brandi and Patrick, Jennifer, Heather, Sandra and Tara, Tyler and Megan, Avery and Ella.
She also loved visits from her 11great-grand children and will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews and the many friends she made over the years.
We would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Gary J Armstrong Home for their care and compassion, especially Nancy Brady (RN) and Sarah Patterson.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Because of Noreen’s love of children, we ask that you make a donation to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) or to the Chiari malformation Research team at CHEO or your local Children’s Hospital.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Noree Vawer January 21 1929 September 27 2020 (age 91)..
