Obituary of Detlef Peters
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Det. Beloved husband and friend of Cindy. Cherished father of Doug (Linn), Dan (Danielle), Ingrid (Chris), Heidi (Shaun), Johnathan and Ashley. Proud grandfather of Tristan, Justin, Corwin, Tyler, Shawn, David, Brandon, Jessica, Christian and the Twinkies (Addison and Everett). Great Grandfather of Echo and Jason. Dear brother of Ronnie (Cindy) and predeceased by Helga and George (Helga). Uncle Det will always be remembered for his mentorship by his many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by Georgiana Castor and the Hazard County Crew. A private family service will take place. Memorial donations to the SAH Complex Care Fund would be appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to the SAH 3B, 3C and Shauna for their care and kindness. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
