SHORTALL, Kevin Francis – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kevin Francis Shortall on Sunday, September 27, 2020 age 84 years. Predeceased by his parents: John and Gertrude Shortall; brothers: Thomas, Frank, Bernard, Mike, Patrick, Paul and John. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his loving wife Joan (nee Pitcher); brother Leonard (Peggy); children: Robert (Carolyn), Michelle and Leigh (Denise); grandchildren: Leah, Bobby, Jennifer, Sheldon and Nicole; great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to his homecare workers: Yvonne Adams and Cindy Hickey. In Kevin’s final days, a special thank you to the nurses of Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L.A. Miler Centre. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
