Robert SINDEN 2020

Robert SINDEN Friday September 25, 2020
SINDEN, Robert Douglas – passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, September 25th, 2020 in his 57th year. Loving husband to Judy Sinden of Walsh, whom he met 38 years ago and was married to for 31 years. Loving father to Amanda Sinden (Jesse Boughner) of Walsh and Jeremy Sinden of Walsh. Beloved son of Harold Sinden of Port Dover and the late Betty Sinden (2001). Dear Brother of Dale Sinden (Helen) of Walsh, the late Cheryl Ryerse (2004), the late Gary Sinden (1976). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rob was born and raised in Port Dover and began working on the tugboats as a fisherman in his early years. He then worked at Dufferin concrete for 33+ years, 25 of those years were spent driving a cement truck. He enjoyed travelling with his family and could always be found outdoors either working on a project, tinkering on old cars, biking, or on his Harley Davidson when the warm weather came. He was the jack of all trades with a sweet tooth for ice cream. Family was most important to him and he will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3. Those wishing to donate in memory of Rob are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or the Simcoe & District Humane Society.
