Obituary of Karen Elaine MacIntosh
Karen Elaine MacIntosh, 60 of Berwick passed away peacefully on September 18, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Elaine Stahlbaum of Berwick and the late Neil MacIntosh.
Karen was born in Cambridge, On and started school at the young age of 4 at William Anderson School and graduated from Glenview High School. After school Karen worked at the ARC Industries of Cambridge, ON and the Flower Cart in New Minas.
She is survived by her mother Elaine; sister Janey (Peter) Rigby of Berwick; brother Neil (Jane) of Cambridge, On; nephews Zachary (Kara) Rigby, Brett (Jess) MacIntosh and Brian MacIntosh; extended family Larry and Tina Stahlbaum; Mike and Angie Stahlbaum; Crissy and Jeff Tunks; Brian and Ursula Stahlbaum and family. Karen will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Besides her father, Karen was also predeceased by her loving step-father Clarence “Tiny” Stahlbaum.
The Family wish to give a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and Nursing Staff on Medical A at the Valley Regional Hospital. Also, to the meal delivery staff, occupational therapist and physiotherapists.
We encourage everyone to share a story about Karen at her Celebration of Life, which will be held on September 27, 2020, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, in the Royal Canadian Legion, Berwick Branch #69. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Berwick Branch #69, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
