James Payne 1922 2020

PAYNE JAMES H. – Peacefully at the Ridgewood Veterans Wing in Saint John, NB on Thursday, August 20th, 2020. Born in Annapolis Royal, NS he is the son of the late Sydney H. & Margaret A. (Carling) Payne.
A veteran of World War 2, James served with the RCAF as a Gunnery Instructor. After the war he got a job working as a Technical Writer for ITT Federal Electrical Corp.
James is survived by his daughter Toni May (Steve) of St. Stephen, NB, 2 grandsons Kyle of Haida Gwaii, BC and Ian of Calgary, AB.
By James request there will be no visitation r service. Cremation will take place. A private family graveside service will take place in Annapolis Royal, NS at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
