Patricia Grace Henry

Patricia Grace Henry, recently of St. Marys and formerly of Ottawa, ON, lost her fiercely fought battle with cancer on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at University Hospital in London, ON.
Pat was born August 27, 1947 in Saskatoon, SK to Alice (Baker) and Robert Lionel Gibbs. She met her husband of 52 years Jerome Aurele Henry in Ottawa, where they wed in May 1968. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Pat was very active in Guiding for many years as a Leader and Trainer. She was very talent in many crafts, especially quilting and scrapbooking.
Besides her husband, left to cherish her memory are her daughter Debbie (Hugh) Pickel of St. Marys, and son Darrin (Erika) Henry of Ottawa, her two beloved grandchildren Autumn and Rain Henry, and her favourite grandpup Charlie Brown Pickel. Pat will also be dearly missed by her older brother Donald (Terry) Gibbs, younger sister Wendy (Denis) St. Louis, and sister in law Cecile Henry, all of Ottawa. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends, all over Canada, US, and England. Predeceased by her mother (2005), father (2007) and grandpup Lancelot Dill Pickel (2019).
Many thanks to Dr. Komorowski for years of dedicated care, as well as Dr. Schiedel and Dr. Gilmour for their care at the end of her life. We are also grateful to all the wonderful, caring, compassionate nurses at both St. Marys Memorial and London University Hospitals.
Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid19, Celebration of Life has been postponed until further notice.
