Shirley Alberta Penson (nee Williamson)
On Friday, September 4, 2020, Shirley Alberta Penson of Valleyview, AB passed away at the age of 88 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Elaine Muceniek, Wayne, Donna (Larry) Noullett, Susan (Fred) Stasch, and Douglas (Heather), grandchildren Scott Gervais, Lynn (Neil) Henderson, Derek Muceniek, Heather Dusseault, Tracy (Greg Anderson) Noullett, David Stasch, Nicole (Wes) Howlett, Lana Swenson, Duane (Amy) Penson, Loris (Dave) Tuck, Melissa and Ashley Penson, Great-grandchildren, Blaine & Cameron, Keipher & Jailyn, Allie & Tristan, Colton & Blake, Olivia & Cohen, Teagan & Harper, Fred Stasch and Finn & Zoë.
Also survived by siblings: Dorothy Friesen, and David Williamson and inlaws: Audrey Williamson, Norine Arlint, Maddy Jebb, Charlie (Bernice) Penson, Jackie (Wayne) Connell, Marlene (Jim) Harper, Gwen (Dale) Smith, Sandra (Ivan) Tissington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, Donald John Penson, daughter, Barbara Gervais; son-in law, Larry Muceniek; daughter-in-law Laurel Penson; siblings – Alex (Bud) Williamson, Leona Reber, and Doreen Melvyn and in-laws: Corney Friesen, Norma Steinke, Leslie Penson, Lyle and Josephine Penson; Joe Jebb, and Jack Arlint.
No service will be held at this time, but a celebration of life will be held on her birthday May 29, 2021.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at the Valleyview General Hospital Long Term Care for their exceptional care.
