1931-2020
Reginald Douglas Forbes, 89, of Moncton,
NB, went to meet his savior on September 11, 2020 at the Moncton
Hospital. Reg was born in Moncton on April 10, 1931 to the
late Clem and Gladys Forbes. He is survived by his wife of
65 years, Lillian (Colpitts) Forbes and daughters, Susan (Robert)
MacEachern, and Sandra (Bob Cassidy) Forbes. He also leaves
behind four grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie McCurdy, Bryan and Daina
MacEachern as well as six great grandchildren. He is also
survived by his brothers, Fred (Clara) and Brian (Susan)
Forbes. He was predeceased by his brother
Harold.
Reg spent his career working for Moncton
Electricity and Gas/ NB Power. His retirement years were spent between
Moncton and Largo, FL.
Visitation will be held at The Salisbury
Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, Salisbury West, (506-372-4800) on
Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 2 – 4 pm. Due to
Covid-19, masks are encouraged and social distancing will be
respected. There will be a private family graveside service at the
Colpitts Settlement Cemetery, Colpitts Settlement, NB.
If desired, in lieu of flowers,
memorials to a charity of your choice would be
appreciated.

    I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Reg.
    It must be quite difficult to lose your husband of 65 yrs.
    I pray that you would find comfort in the Lord in the days ahead.
