Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Albert Stanley Jones of Elrose, SK. David passed away peacefully at the Elrose Health Centre on January 15, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
David was the youngest and last surviving of the five children born to Effie and Ernest Jones of Elrose, SK. David, or Uncle Davy as many will recall, is survived by close family members: nephew Kent (Shirley) Jones and their children Gabe, Karlee and Matt; niece Susan (Ken) Allport and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
David lived his life as a farmer and true cowboy. He touched the hearts of many over the years and was a long-time member of the Elrose Masonic Lodge and the Wa Wa Shriner’s Club. Nothing meant more to Uncle David than farming and visiting with family and friends. Thank you to the many special friends Uncle David had over the years who visited him without fail, especially Dennis Dixon.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Elrose United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Jim MacNaughton officiating. Interment to follow at the Elrose Cemetery.
Donations in memory of David may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada, 1003 Decarie Boulevard, Montreal, QC, H4A 0A9.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of David Albert Stanley JONES February 20 1926 January 15 2020 (age 93)..
