Raghbir Alexander Jin (born Alexander Taylor, affectionately known as Raj), of Calgary, AB, died on
September 5, 2020 at the age of 32 after a lifelong battle with mental illness.
Raj is loved and will be missed by surviving parents, Brent (Trudy) Taylor and Colleen (Randy) Taylor;
siblings, Danny Taylor and Christine Weber; and daughters, Penny and Robin.
Born November 1, 1987 in Calgary and raised in Cochrane, Raghbir lived in Lethbridge, Viking,
Drumheller, Vancouver, Peace River, and travelled South America before returning to Calgary. He was a
gentle and creative soul with an education and passion in both journalism and photography. He had one
clear love and pride in his life, that of being a father. The beautiful years he spent at home with his
daughter were the best of his life.
