Obituary of Mildred Joyce Kirby
Passed away after a lengthy illness, on September 3, 2020, Mildred Joyce Kirby. She was 71 years of age.
Joyce was a very active person who enjoyed walking every day, hunting, fishing, ski-dooing and riding on the side by side. Most of all, she loved spending time with family, friends and playing with her grandkids.
She was predeceased by her husband Robin Kirby; parents A. Thomas Higdon and Lucy (Cranford) Higdon; sister Lorraine (Higdon) Pye; brothers Allan, Guy and Larry Higdon. She leaves to mourn her partner James Wall; sons Derek (Shelley) Kirby, Dale Kirby; sister Shirley Jones; brothers Hughie (Yvonne) Higdon, Ken Higdon; grandchildren Adam, Rachel, Jaxon, Lisa; great- grandchildren Aiden, Elijah and a circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Joan Antle will conduct a private family funeral service at the Anglican Church in Millertown in keeping with the Covid 19 restrictions. Pallbearers will be nephew Keith Higdon, great niece Natasha Jones, great niece Amanda Jones, niece Donna Lambert, Rob Tilley and John Wall.
