It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Eleanor on September 1, 2020 in Enderby, BC and she was 98. She was born in Swift Current, SK. Eleanor was a teacher in Saskatchewan and came to Armstrong in 1969. She enjoyed knitting, reading, crossword puzzles and playing crib. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, Women’s Institute, Seniors Center and liked to curl, bowl and lawn bowl. She loved travelling, going on several cruises including the South Pacific, as well as going to England to see family.
Eleanor is predeceased by her loving husband Clarence in 1986 and son-in-law Rick Dacey in 2002. She is survived by two daughters: Peggy Handel (Walter) of Vernon and Kaylee Dacey of Calgary; four grandchildren: Christine Porter (Dave), Cathy Schilman (Chris), Pamela Roach (Tim) and Matthew Dacey.
A private family service will be held.
